These are the standard first aid dressings which are supplied in all HSE First Aid Kits.  They are provided to assist the blood clotting process and to stop any foreign bodies from entering the wound which could thereby cause an infection.  Medikit's First Aid Kit range has either the BSN Propax First Aid Dressing or the boxed version of the same.   

Sterile Unmedicated Dressings are used in the majority of First Aid Kits for immediate use in the event of an incident.  High quality absorbent dressings are available in a wide choice of sizes.

The highly absorbent compressed pad is enclosed on all sides reducing the risk of fibrous particles contaminating a wound.  It is sewn onto an Easifix bandage with high stretch properties providing good conformability.
